چکیده

In the present work, rapid identification of elements and their relative chemical composition in various Peganum harmala seed samples were investigated using a calibration-free laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy technique (CF-LIBS). A pulsed Nd:YAG laser-source with 5 ns pulse-duration, 10 Hz pulse repetition rates providing 400 200 mJ energy at 1064 532 nm wavelength, respectively, was focused on for ablation. LIBS 2000+ spectrometer within wavelength range (200 to 720 nm), emission-spectra recorded. The measured spectra sample gives spectral lines Carbon (C), Magnesium (Mg), Lithium (Li), Sodium (Na), Calcium (Ca), Silicon (Si), Iron (Fe), Strontium (Sr), Copper (Cu), Potassium (K), Lead (Pb). CF-LIBS has been employed compositional study exist samples. results demonstrate that C, Mg, Ca are found be major compositions ~36.64%, ~24.09%, ~19.03%, respectively. Along elements, including Li, Na, Si, K, Fe, Sr identified as minor ~2.87%, ~2.33%, ~3.72%, ~7.17%, ~2.83%, ~1.14%, Besides Cu (~8.07 μg/g), Pb (~1.10 μg/g) observed trace Furthermore, electron number density plasma excitation-temperature calculated stark-broadening line profile method Saha–Boltzmann plot method, parameters versus laser-irradiance distance from further investigated. Moreover, principal component analysis (PCA) also utilized data obtained by discriminate four classes, namely, α, β, γ, Δ. Three principal-components (PCs) eigenvalues score matrix described 87.6%, 4.6%, 2.5% total variance PC1, PC2, PC3, covered initial 3 PCS ~94.7% variance. PCA have successfully demonstrated different classes based doping ratios Zn element. This confirmed feasibility ability Finally, achieved incorporated those XRF EDX analytical techniques.

Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is a powerful analytical technique that can be used for the detection and characterization of materials. In LIBS, a focused laser beam is used to generate a plasma plume on the surface of solid and liquid samples or inside the sample volume of gases, liquids, and aerosols. Each excited atom in the plasma emits a unique set of spectral lines, particula...

Identification of Coffee Varieties Using Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy and Chemometrics

We linked coffee quality to its different varieties. This is of interest because the identification of coffee varieties should help coffee trading and consumption. Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) combined with chemometric methods was used to identify coffee varieties. Wavelet transform (WT) was used to reduce LIBS spectra noise. Partial least squares-discriminant analysis (PLS-DA), ...
